Attending HTC-19 this year was a particularly rewarding experience for me. Since the conference was held in Leuven, the city where I live, it felt special to take part in such a major event right on my doorstep.
One of the highlights was presenting my research on the total breakthrough phenomenon as a poster. As a researcher, you always hope that your work will spark discussions, so I was genuinely happy to see that attendees showed real interest in the topic. The conversations and questions I received made the experience both enjoyable and motivating.
Of course, HTC-19 was not only about science. It was also a fantastic opportunity to catch up with colleagues and make new connections. After the conference sessions, we enjoyed some drinks together and reflected on a successful event. Overall, HTC-19 was a memorable conference that combined exciting scientific discussions, valuable networking opportunities, and the unique experience of attending an event like this in my own city. I look forward to applying the new ideas and inspiration I gained from the meeting to my future research.
